The game offers gamblers a 5×3 playing field with 10 fixed paylines. It has a medium to high variance, with plenty of chaining wins. The slot pays both left to right and right to left. Each time you score a win, the slot offers a re-spin and after a certain number of re-spins, the multiplier increases. It can only go as high as 3x, and keeps going until no more wins appear. Wilds can only appear on the second and fourth reel, and double any wins they are a part of, and if you have two Wilds, they multiply with each other to give a 4x multiplier to the winning combination they are a part of. Finally, winning three or more Megastar symbols will activate the Megastar feature during which the reels transition onto a different playing field, where things pay more and where you can activate one of those four jackpots that you’ve seen on the sides of the reels. Collecting a certain amount of those symbols will reward you with the associated jackpot, but you have to do it by the end of the bonus or else you have to progress through the collecting part all over again.
How to Play Reels of Wealth
It’s fair to say that the game offers good looking graphics and a relatively simple theme. We imagine the solid purple backdrop was chosen due to being associated with royalty, and the whole heap of treasure in front of the purple wall probably lends credence to that theory. Thanks to the fact there are two different reel setups because the Megastar feature, there are double the symbols you would usually find in a regular slot, and because of that, we’re not going to dock too many points for the presence of poker card symbols.
On the gameplay side of things, the medium to high volatility plays a relatively big role, even if the wins don’t always reflect it. From the time we spent playing it, Reels of Wealth seems to operate on a cycle basis, in which you go through periods of wins and losses, so you need to figure out when to quit while you’re ahead. At the same time, the Betsoft’s release knows how to tempt you with frequent wins or that Megastar feature being just one symbol away.
Jackpots & Progressives
There’s no progressive jackpot in this slot. Instead, the game offers four fixed jackpots to those who can collect enough symbols during the Megastar feature. Outside of that, we’ve had some decent wins thanks to the re-spins that happen after every win, and the growing multiplier it offers the longer it keeps going. The best thing we’ve gotten there was a twenty re-spin streak, which left us in a solid plus afterwards.
