Where to Play Dragon Kingdom
Dragon Kingdom Mobile Slot Review
If you play with fire, you will get eventually burned, but if you play with fire breathing lizards, chances of being set on fire increase dramatically. In Dragon Kingdom, you have a red-haired half-naked woman who’s implied to be the Queen of Dragons, with the remaining three drakes being her entourage. With 5 reels and 25 paylines, the slot has a good looking theme, but it fails to keep us enthusiastic when it comes to special features or payouts. With little uniqueness in the bonuses, and wins that can sometimes feel disappointing, it was an uphill battle to get us to like this game.
Which is a shame, because we wanted to like it. Dragons are known to hoard treasure, so naturally a kingdom full of dragons would have to mean there’s lots of loot around! While we detract some points for including gambling icons instead of more unique symbol art, there is no denying a lot of effort has gone into the animations of the dragon queen and the drakes themselves as they roar out to the sky when part of a win.
If you see a gateway to another dimension, don’t try to hop through it thinking you will go to the land of glorious wins. The said gateway is the icon for Scatters which reward 5 free spins and if three more Scatters land, you get three more turns. Each time you activate the bonus, you get to pick between 5 different icons, which makes them appear stacked. The issue is, there are no guaranteed wins, and 5 spins is way too low.
Wilds use the slot’s logo to represent themselves. They have no unique function of their own, apart from being able to replace other icons except for Scatters. They also act as a jackpot, equalling to 16x your wager.
How to Play Dragon Kingdom
You won’t be winning too much while playing Dragon Kingdom. The paytables can be somewhat disappointing, and there aren’t constant smaller wins to make up for it. As such, the game can feel boring at times, unless you get lucky with that single special feature and score big, or luck out during normal gameplay.
The minimum bet you can have is $0.25, while the maximum you can spin for is $125. Like other Pragmatic Play slots, this one also separates coin value from actual value, which can be confusing at times, but this is something that varies on a developer by developer basis.
Jackpots & Progressives
While it has no progressive jackpot, the wins can be decent enough. The problem is that the paytable isn’t quite as exciting as it could be. The largest win you can carry home is 16x your total wager, which equals out to $2,000 if you’re playing at the maximum bet. At least Hercules Son of Zeus by the same developer had a big maximum win that you could at least justify being worth it. It sadly isn’t the case here.
Pragmatic Play also failed to deliver on special features as well. Never mind that there is just the free spins and no other bonuses to activate, but even then, it can fall right in the water without giving you anything. It has just five free turns, and they aren’t guaranteed to give you a win, making this a raw deal for anyone who scores it.
Bonus Games & Sign-ups
Dragon Kingdom’s sole special feature is triggering by three or more Scatters appearing on the playing field. With five free spins, you pick out one of the five symbols. You can choose to empower Wilds, the Dragon Queen, or one of the three dragons, and depending on which one you choose, the multiplier increases.
On top of that, that icon becomes super stacked, which means you will be seeing a lot more of it. And you can retrigger the special feature by getting three or more Scatters again, which awards three extra free spins.
