We expected better visuals from BetSoft, although considering this title’s theme, they may have decided to give it the B-list treatment. Symbol animations are non-existent, and while we dislike this, we also struggle to really think of anything that the developers could actually make a bunch of vegetables do. Then again, even the dull, but reliable zoom in and out would be better than them blowing up and disappearing without doing anything. We do like the background image – a colourful Mexican town, with some rocky mountains off in the distance.
Symbols include garlic, tomatoes, green peppers, red peppers, orange peppers, onions, thin yellow peppers and thin orange peppers. A cute piñata is used as Wild, which can be used to substitute for all icons except for Scatters. A happy mule with a sombrero is Scatter and is used to trigger the free spins special feature.
The slot has medium volatility, which means you will see a nice balance between small, frequent pays and bigger, but rare jackpot scores. There are several bonuses available to players in this BetSoft release. Free spins and Wild multipliers are the most common bonuses, exploding wins happen all the time and expanding reels is the rarest of the bunch.
