I’m certain there’s someone currently in Rival snickering to themselves about Catsino. A company making slots used in casinos making a game about cats playing slots at a casino. If that does not qualify for the label of meta humour, I do not know what does. Still, this is a very enjoyable 5 reel, 50 payline game full of rich felines flirting, gambling and enjoying their nights. And with multiplier Wilds as well as generous free spins bonuses, this is a must play for everyone. Well, unless you hate cats. But what kind of person hates cats?
And as this is a slot about cats playing slots, the symbols match up as you would expect. Gambling icons come in the shape of cards, and you can find 9, 10, J, Q, K and A littered about the reels with a little paw print on them. These symbols are joined with some unique ones in the shape of several guests of the Catsino as well, alongside gambling chips and stacks of cash for some truly high paying icons.
Wilds come in the shape of a relaxed, smiling cat. Deciding to vary things a little bit from the usual formula, this Rival release does not have expanding Wilds. Instead, Wilds come with a 3x multiplier, and the multipliers can increase depending on how whether or not the other bonus feature is active or not.
Three or more Scatters will activate free spins, and the icon for Scatters is a grumpy, purple cat. In the intro video he is hinted as a mob boss type, which makes sense. How to play Catsino
You can see Rival wanted to make this game succeed, due to that little bit of extra polish that has been put into it. While the card icons make the graphics a little bit simpler, the guests are fully animated and every so often, one of them will step off from the side of the screen and blow you a kiss or clap for you if you get a particularly large win.
The paylines are variable, and you can change the coin value and the amount of coins on each payline.
