Cascading Cave is a game with a mining theme. It is played on a 5×3 board with 20 fixed paylines. To win, collect three or more identical symbols in adjacent positions, starting with the leftmost reel. All wins must follow one of the currently active paylines or else the cash prize won’t be awarded to the gambler.
Available special features include the cascading reels, which is expected given the name! There’s also the Diamond Drop bonus, activated by finding two or three TNT Scatters. The number of Scatters determines the number of reels which will be flooded by diamond Wilds. You can also look forward to multiplier Wilds with reels marked by a number.
How to Play Cascading Cave
Honestly, this might be the most detailed, static background we have come across. Not that it’s too difficult to decorate a mine shaft: just throw rocks everywhere! Still, it looks quite cool. Combined with the awesome animation you see each time icons explode and give way to new symbols? We’re happy to report this release looks fantastic!
As for symbol designs… they aren’t that interesting. There are several precious gems with different colours, a pickaxe, a lantern, a mule and the old miner. The upside down diamond is Wild, while the TNT is Scatter. None of these icons look bad, but they’re all things we’ve seen plenty of times. Then again, not like there’s much variety in mining themed slots.
Cascading Cave has a medium-high variance, with the winning potential to match! This game is capable of creating some incredibly lucrative prizes through its special features. But, as you’d expect, actually scoring those bonuses is a major annoyance. It’s not as bad as some high volatility releases we know, but it’s no walk in the park either.
