This is a cowboy-themed video slot which offers players a 5×3 playing field with 15 fixed paylines. That means gamblers cannot choose to turn some or all paylines on and off in order to adjust their total bet. Pays are awarded for collecting three or more identical symbols in adjacent positions following one of 15 active paylines, from left to right only. The game has a few bonuses for its players: stacked mystery icons, re-spins with fully stacked symbols and free spins.
How to play Showdown Saloon
The Fortune Factory’s title developed exclusively for Microgaming-powered casinos looks alright, though we would not place it on any pedestals just yet. We like the background image, with gambling chips, bullets, playing cards and a large revolver resting on the table beneath the reels. Most animations are saved for screen transitions and the smooth and satisfying experience of watching the reels spin and slowly fall into place afterwards. We also appreciate the choice of music. The guitar gives it an unmistakable, Western feel. The studio is partnered with Microgaming, so it is no surprise to see they adopted their user interface in full.
Symbols include a purple gun, a stack of blue gambling chips, two glasses and a bottle full of whiskey, a pair of red dice, and finally, playing card royals: 10, J, Q, K and A. Wild is a handful of playing cards, while a cowboy with his arms crossed holding a revolver in each hand is Scatter.
The slot has high volatility and a combination of special features we have seen many times now. The stacked Mystery icons and re-spins were bonuses we also saw in Romanov Riches, another Fortune Factory release that came out about two months before this game. However, it is not a full-out clone, so it is better in that regard than some other developers.

Each base and free spin has a stack of mystery icons present on the reels. A single symbol from the paytable will replace the mystery icons on each reel, but this does not guarantee you will constantly see stacked symbols, simply that they will be more common.
However, when gamblers have two to four reels full of matching, fully stacked icons, they win a re-spin. The triggering stacks remain locked in place, while all other reels re-spin. If you land additional adjacent matching symbols, another re-spin is awarded.
